Can you believe we are already halfway through February? Time is flying by this year. It is getting so close to March and Spring that I am itching for nice weather and getting outside. Luckily for me, there are a couple of incredible outdoor adventures this week.
The Southern Oregon Land Conservancy puts on Rogue River Preserve Stewardship day in Eagle Point. This event is where the community can help remove the invasive Scotch Broom weed and make room for our natural plants. It is a great way to help out and also get some fresh air.
The Polar Plunge hosted by Rogue Valley Country Club promises to be socially distanced and have a virtual option. This annual event raises money every year to benefit the Special Olympics Oregon Athletes. If you feel safe being around others, socially distanced, and wearing masks, please plan to attend this great event. If not, check out the virtual options, including a 5k and 10k and a super plungers event.
